Joomla Component Builder (JCB) is a professional Joomla extension-development engine and compiler-like build platform. It enables developers to model domain structures, administration and site interfaces, permissions, fields, database schemas, language material, reusable code and packaging rules, then compile installable Joomla extensions.

Llewellyn’s architectural responsibility includes the platform model, generation stages, service boundaries, reusable Powers, version-aware behaviour, packaging, Git-backed distribution and long-term compatibility. The system has evolved across Joomla 3 through Joomla 6 while continuing to support production application delivery.

This catalogue names 101 attributable, canonical, non-fork public repository lineages selected for presentation. It is intentionally broader than a flagship list: major platforms, supporting utilities, application repositories, educational foundations and historical systems are all named. Forks, duplicate code histories, superseded delivery copies and generated-package duplicates are omitted so the same engineering work is not counted twice.

The dates matter. The long-running platforms, Joomla applications and Bash automation suites were established before modern generative coding systems and reflect original hands-on engineering. Their dated histories also show continued ownership, adaptation and maintenance across changing Joomla, PHP, Linux, container and delivery environments. Newer AI and MCP projects are presented as an extension of that established engineering base, not as its origin.
